We love it when our original Founding Mom, Jill Salzman, visits #theFMC Exchanges to meet mom entrepreneurs around the world. Recently she visited member Boston mom entrepreneurs to find out the great things they’re doing there. Women business network unites: it’s electric!
These ladies know how to have fun.
But seriously: I once had an idea. A few people thought it was a good idea. Those people told a few more people about it. Six years later, the idea has become a business that affords me the opportunity to travel to cities like Boston where I get to meet incredibly inspiring entrepreneurs and continue to grow this thing with them so that we can all build better businesses together. Because none of us can do it alone. So the next time you shop local or hire an artist or support a small business, you are not just supporting an entrepreneur, or her family, or your local economy. You are supporting a dream. And to do that for someone is the wildest and most moving thing that can be done.

“When women work together, amazing things happen.” At The Founding Moms, we find this to be true. That’s why a women business network like our Founding Moms’ Exchanges are such a huge success.
We live in a world where “busy” is normal. Our women business network allows for a time to break away from the hustle and bustle and refocus ourselves to us – the strong, confident women. Reaching out to other women will make us stronger and healthier mentally and emotionally.
A women business network event like The Founding Moms’ Exchange plays a great part in helping participants realize that they can do more and better things together than they do when they work apart. By encouraging cooperation and teamwork, these women participants will learn to appreciate what they have as well as what others have.
Have you ever tried working with a team on a project? What was the experience like? How could you have performed better?
In women business network events or get-togethers, we give ourselves the chance to learn from others. Although we often get together with women who are likeminded, we may often find that there’s something unique from each one that we can learn and benefit from. So at The Founding Moms, we love coming together at events like The Founding Moms’ Exchange: Boston.
